A richly textured band capturing the strength and endurance of the heirloom trees in our Sonoma County orchard. Sold individually in reclaimed rose, yellow or white gold, sterling silver, palladium or our signature chocolate-brown alloy of gold and copper called shakudo, lined in rose gold. Customize by adding diamond accents (alternate image shows 5 placed at intervals all around, but also sweet with just a couple together, perhaps like the two of you on your special day). This design is our thin width, measuring approximately 2.5 mm in diameter, and coordinating bands in other widths are also available.

Please note: the shakudo version is temporarily out of stock due to our inability to cast this material in the midst of a studio move. Email me if you'd like to be notified when this option will be available again. Please also be aware that this is a gorgeous option for occasion wear but, similar to a pearl or opal ring, is not intended as a round-the-clock wedding band. The chocolate patina is a surface treatment that is expected to become more softly burnished over time, with a "living finish" that is personalized by the wearer. However, contact with soaps, lotions, perspiration and chemicals will remove the protective lacquer and accelerate wear, and the high copper content makes it more vulnerable to scratches. The gold option is a more care-free alternative for a wedding or engagement ring you'd prefer not to remove.
