vineyard stacking rings

$165.00

Inspired by the grapevines outside our Sonoma County studio, young vines twine around the finger in “vintage” rose or yellow gold, sterling silver, or our signature chocolate-brown alloy of gold and copper called shakudo, lined in rose gold. Reclaimed palladium or surprisingly bright-white gold (not rhodium-plated) also available by special order.

Sold individually, each ring is slightly different. When stacked, they intentionally don't fit together precisely and allow some skin to show between in a pleasing, organic way. (Please indicate size in Notes to Seller upon checkout. May also specify vine style if desired by noting top, middle or bottom in image shown.)

Dimensions:
width: approx. 2mm, ranging from about 1.7 at the thinnest point and 3mm at notches
depth: approx. 1.5mm

Sizes 6 and 6.5 in silver are in stock and ready to ship. Other options made to order in 2 - 3 weeks.

Please note: the shakudo version is temporarily out of stock due to our inability to cast this material in the midst of a studio move. Let us know if you'd like to be notified when this option will be available again. Please also be aware that this is a gorgeous option for occasion wear but, similar to a pearl or opal ring, is not intended as a round-the-clock wedding band. The chocolate patina is a surface treatment that is expected to become more softly burnished over time, with a "living finish" that is personalized by the wearer. However, contact with soaps, lotions, perspiration and chemicals will remove the protective lacquer and accelerate wear, and the high copper content makes it more vulnerable to scratches. The gold option is a more care-free alternative for a wedding or engagement ring you'd prefer not to remove.
